Huachuma Spiritquest

The consecutive Ayahuasca and Huachuma SpiritQuest retreats constitute an intensive course in sacred plant healing and higher consciousness technology of ancient Peru, spanning the cultural and metaphysical continuum from the Amazon to the Andes and coastal Perú.  These complementary works are synergistic and interrelated, blending the sacred feminine energy of Ayahuasca from the Amazon with the sacred masculine energy of Huachuma from the coast and Andes.

Huachuma (aka San Pedro) is the Grandfather spirit plant counterpart to Mother Ayahuasca, forming a yin yang whole greater than the sum of the parts.  It is a magnificent teacher plant with certain healing and instructional qualities that exceed even those of Ayahuasca.  Many consider the ancient mesada ritual celebration of consciousness and one’s relationship with nature and cosmos to be among the most profound spiritual practices in the history of mankind.  Indeed it is.

Vilca , also known as Willka or Cebil, is an ancient visionary snuff (containing DMT, 5 meO-DMT and bufotenine) prepared from the seeds from the leguminous tree (Anadenanthera colubrina/peregrina) of South America.  Vilca (which means ‘sacred’ in Quechua)  was regarded as the supreme visionary bridge between life and death in ancient times.  It was used by many cultures in South America dating back to before 2,500 BC.  It was partaken within huachuma mesada ceremonies in the Chavin temple as part of the supreme initiation there, and later by Moche, Wari and Inca shaman priests in inner sanctum rituals.

The masterful blending of Huachuma and Vilca is the most advanced of all ancient sacred plant technology, truly a whole greater than the sum of the parts, unsurpassed in its transformative power and spiritual profundity.   The synergy of these plants was the catalyst for the great pulse of consciousness at Chavin which became the cradle of Andean civilization over 3,500 years ago.  It is a timeless initiation, the same now as in ancient times.

Huachuma and Vilca are the perfect catalysts to optimize and accelerate the healing and transformative benefits of Ayahuasca.  Mitch Schultz (DMT: The Spirit Molecule) and Aubrey Marcus have produced an excellent video documentary about the Huachuma Mesada Initiation of the Three Worlds which can be viewed at  .

Bobinsana (Calliandra angustiflora) is an amazing Amazonian teacher healer plant which opens and heals the heart and clarifies feelings and emotions.  It is also a dream plant often inducing vivid dreams for many nights after partaking it.  It is an admixture plant in our Ayahuasca medicine, the focus of a special bobinsana ceremony during the Ayahuasca SpiritQuest, and an excellent option for a dedicated plant dieta guided by don Rober and Eliana.

The four greatest healer teacher plants of South American antiquity are Ayahuasca, Huachuma, Vilca, and Bobinsana.  I recommend you consider attending both retreats for optimal benefit, but you can attend one or the other if that is your preference.

The primary inspiration and model for our shamanic work is Chavin, the ancient culture of universal consciousness that became the cradle of Andean civilization over 3,500 years ago.   Chavin is the most sophisticated tradition in sacred plant shamanism of the Americas, and the foundation upon which our work is based.  The indigenous roots of our Ayahuasca work is Lamista of the upper Amazon.  For those seeking personal healing and transformation rooted in principle and integrity, and a profound and accelerated initiation in the art and science of sacred plant shamanism of ancient Peru, there is no better opportunity anywhere.
