Reptiles and amphibians have become increasingly popular as pets. A burgeoning live pet trade exists and many people find themselves overwhelmed by the needs of wild animal pets and companions. Sometimes these animals become unwanted and face certain death if disposed of unwisely or inhumanely. We have established D.R.A.G.O.N.S. as a positive alternative for such animals. We accept unwanted captive reptiles and amphibians, provide temporary sanctuary in professionally designed and maintained quarters and conditions, and find permanent placements for them through a broad-based adoption program.
